There's nothing I love more than putting people on fish! While targeting walleyes on legendary LAKE WINNIBIGOSHISH is my passion, I also fish other area lakes such as LEECH, BOWSTRING, RED, ROUND, and BALLCLUB.
When not guiding, you can find me on BIG WINNIE or another area lake fishing with my family or friends every chance I get. I take great pride in teaching kids of all ages the joy of fishing. I feel my patience, knowledge, and attention to every client's abilities allow me to provide the best fishing experience possible.
Up to 3 anglers can fish safe and comfortably in my 2075 Pro V Lund boat powered by a 250 HP Mercury Verado. Modern Humminbird Helix electronics and quality fishing equipment increase our opportunity to target and catch more fish.
Fully insured, I provide a COMPLETE guided fishing experience. I provide the boat, rods and reels, tackle, bait, and even rain gear. All you need to bring is your food, choice of beverage, a valid MN fishing license, appropriate clothing, a camera, and a positive attitude! At the end of the day I will clean and package your fish to take home.
Looking for a SHORELUNCH? You're in luck as I'm an awesome outdoor chef! Straight from the pond to the pan, I'll cook up our catch along with potatoes and beans...guaranteed to send you home stuffed and satisfied!

We were referred to Dale from another guide as he was busy the day we wanted to fish. Turned out, it was a really great deal. Dale picked up on our personalities immediately. He seemed to know just what we needed. Dale was very professional, patient, knowledgeable and helpful and took great care of us. I don't think I had to put one worm on my hook that day, Dale took care of everything. His equipment is top notch and we lacked nothing. There was four of us on our trip and that many people is hard to manage, yet Dale handled it with ease. He explained in detail about how we were going to fish that day, gave us novices all perfect instructions, and made sure we were on the fish! We booked a trip with Dale while staying at a resort with my family back in 2005. He was very patient and showed a lot of enthusiasm in working with my kids to teach them how to fish. Since then, Dale has taken us out every year since. We look forward to fishing with him every year.
Dale put us on fish! I booked a reunion trip with a couple of high school buddies to fish on Big Winnie. Conditions were harsh-cold, windy, and nobody was catching fish. He worked extremely hard to find fish, and once he found them it was awesome! Within about an hour we had filled out on walleyes and had some bonus northern and perch. At 3:00 we were at the landing eating the best shorelunch I've ever had!
